How things have changed ...

Of course we were all only looking at the cars.

Was it that the female of the species did not tend to buy cars .... or "butch on the bonnet" might have left too much of an impression ?

One thing is for sure, eye-candy is not gender neutral or we would have no fashion industry ...

Feel free to delete this if it's too controversial ... it is a comment on the times ...

There's nothing wrong with 1/12th scale, said the non-gender-specific non-stereotypical non-over-assertive service worker to the non-gender-specific non-stereotypical non-religious-specific non-class-superior or inferior non-service-worker.

(21st century comedy... rocks.)

it could be that long! they are rare in the scheme of things. Lets say there are about 10,000 981's (across all variants) in the UK. That is a fraction of the 32 million cars in the UK (as of 2020 stats).
