Oufff! They are lovely, I take it there no issues with uv and exposed carbon sitting in it for long periods or will it be garaged when not in use?
Just curious as I thought direct sunlight can weaken carbon over time?
Thanks.Just curious as I thought direct sunlight can weaken carbon over time?
Garaged when not in use but these are manufactured differently to other carbon wheels or body parts. I have noticed they actually tend to go grey blue rather than yellow as they get older and exposed to the elements. We had ours ppf'd by Topaz. Only other turbo I've seen with them in the UK

There's something about the 944/968 shape that makes you think 'yes - Porsche did some proper design work to distribute all of the weight correctly...'
I didn't want to say earlier but now I can't help myself. They look like they have some dead bodies in the boot. A bit too low at the back for me compared to the front.ATM said:

And yes, profile of 944/68 is one of the best, and handling backs up the engineering input.

I love the 944/968 especially in slate grey met.
Whereas I think it looks better in just about any other colour - but colour was low on the list of preferences at the timeAt least the paint quality’s pretty good - perhaps not as mirrored as some, but not a bad reflective surface for 30yo with just a wash and a wipe….
