I was just chatting to a local Porsche specialist dealer this morning, he told me they can't get hold of 996's quick enough at the moment.
As soon as they get one it's straight out the door.

I think it's a combo of the 996 being the most affordable and also that more and more people are coming round to the looks.

I was looking at them a couple of years ago due to the affordability but then plumped for a newer Cayman, it's done my well though and I can't complain
