I should never have sold my 997.1 GT3. Such a fun and pretty car.

Probably this, and a very long ago early 911S......but there is a limit to garage size.

There's another one I should have held onto...I've come to the conclusion I'm very good at making bad decisions weeping

Just slightly off topic, the Porsche I most regret NOT buying was a 968 Clubsport in yellow, it was in wonderful condition and had around 70k miles on it when I had the chance to buy it...we had a Boxster at the time but the future ex wife just couldn't see the bigger picture

All of them - and I have been lucky enough to have had quite a few - except my second 3.2 (89 Sport) oddly.

PS if I had my time again I would have bought a late 964 coupe (manual) and kept that. Best of all worlds imo.

The 996GT3RS may have been an error. And selling the 993C2S was not my finest moment.
993C2S is exactly what I'd like to have, normally aspirated, 2WD wide body. Not your finest moment is an understatement, but circumstances sometimes force us to do things.....

Hind sight really is ste at times.

Can't warm to the 996RS, design is challenging at best. When you shut the door and turn around you need to feel wobble rather than yuck

Love the C2S, only one I seriously regret not having.

Nearly sold mine this year health reasons.
Luckily the operation, was successful.
I have had the car nine years, they do become part of the family memories etc.
Plus could never afford, another one either value gone up to much.

3 yrs down the line, I'm not at all sure? At the time, I felt that a more 'mainstream' Porsche would be more useable. This is marginally correct, but not a good enough reason, in hindsight.

Steve, you would have loved driving Ian's little blue 964 cup. It was/is a cracker. The late, great Sean driving it at Spa:

Lovely.

Neat, tidy and typical Sean. One of the very best 911 drivers that I ever met and the nicest.

A good Man.

frown Feel for you mate. I have often thought the same but I just can't bring myself to sell it.

What I would say about that car is it was a very pretty thing but dynamically the narrow body car was preferable.
