Congratulations for spotting this , prize is in the post - truth is it does line up far better than it looks in the images , it is however slightly off - not Tims fault , we had a slight issue with the pattern that's been recified and Rick is sending out new ones. I decided to leave on as exposure therapy for my obsessive tendencies - I was doing quite well until now - back to rehab !!

Whoooa, back up tiger ! ! Now correct me if I'm wrong, but you appear to be saying these aren't genuine, factory supplied "original" Porsche "stickers" ??? And that they're some aftermarket bits you've found on the interweb ?

If you'd let me have your chassis number, I'll contact Reading to ensure it's added to their warranty blacklist post haste. Can't have you flaunting their rules and regulations in the name of "style" or being "individual" can we ?

As for Andrews observations regarding the "stickers" on your wife's car. I'd suggest a public flogging for the "fitter" concerned, and death by firing squad for the management team. Normally I'd say it's shoddy workmanship, but I think the use of the word workmanship is giving credit where it's clearly not due, so we'll stick with just plain old shoddy

Firstly I think you've used this image to ridicule me in a previous post - a good PH'r never does this - originality and freshness are the order of the day - please try harder.

Re the decals - I am very happy with the source - it's as close at you can get to OEM if Porsche don't do the colour that you want - the supplier does all the work for lots and lots of OPC's - including all the work for Reading. However, I realise I've not only invalidated my warranty , but also devalued the car by at least 50 % ! Happy to off load it to anyone on here for 50p (for legal clarity : this is a joke !)

Re the fitter - he's really brilliant and in truth, I think any issue may have been down to me meddling with final positioning - but honestly in real life they look absolutely fine - its the photo that makes them look odd - honest guv.

None of this matters though, as you know it will never be driven- other than in and out of the garage of course for a polish

I've taken the liberty of ordering you a 991 GT2 in GTSM with the WS pack - I think it will arrive at some point in the next 12 months - the only thing I ask for in return is your Carerra GT - it will only get in the way and I imagine is a burden - thinking of you really : happy to help.

At this point it would be MY CGT !!! (this works better if you say it in a Dr Evil type of voice by the way)

But rest assured, even the king of the decal knows perfection would be ruined with a wonky sticker - I think it's mighty fine without.

Love it - I particularly like the wheel centres : I've got them in production - will post a picture when done

Edited to add : I was a little tipsy when I first saw this and missed the work involved to create the air scoop, wing tip & wheel centre decals - this is the sign of a true artiste , brilliant attention to detail. As is the Pixie Power side decal script - pure genius - this is much better work Slippy - carry on.

BTW H, genuine technical question - could the transmission whine be caused by the latest and most annoyingly interfering driver aid "PPP" : Porsche Pixie Power ?

Am I reading this correctly the GT4 auto blips in sport mode as well as sport + mode and if so why would Porsche have bothered altering the programe for our Spyders!

My daily driver Mini John Cooper Works auto blips 24/7 and when in Sport mode it seems to auto blip slightly more aggressively but this might be more by the added exhaust when it rev matches and more popping on the overrun - Having this rev matching on the 24/7 makes me now drive the Spyder far more in Sport + mode as I really like the perfect rev matched down changes and would get my Spyder reprogrammed if I am reading your post correctly of course

The GT4 only has Sport mode, which activates the auto blip. There is no Sport+ mode.

Thanks for the clarification - strange it only has the one mode or does it mean it's in the equivalent Spyder Sport mode from the get go
