New to Porsche, so these things may not be GTS specific, and may all be that I'm doing something wrong,..

The car never really seems to completely de-fog? is this normal? I usually run the ventilation on auto, and when the autumn sun shines hits you see fogging, not so bad that you can't drive, but you can write on it with your finger? is this the norm?

18 way seats intermittently click when pushing back into them, the click position is directly between my shoulder blades, so upper middle bolster? the click sounds like the dice thrower on a board game..

Stone chips on the lower Hammerite looking section in front of rear wheel, everytime I drive it almost. The car is PPF'd but they don't do this section..

Some of the ergonomics of the buttons hidden behind the Gear stick leave a bit to be desired, hey-ho..

And finally, the most annoying, get in a wet car, and end up with a lap full of water.. really...

The water on the lap is running off the roof as you get in, I assume due to no gutter?

On the seat, does the center just snap out? or am I going to break a clip pulling it out?

2 months in Convertible 2GTS.2

This isn't just a GTS issue. My wife's Cayenne always has steamed up windows - she tells me that its all down to poor demisting, and I believe her! The GTS is the same. The trick is to open the windows - you get to hear the engine better and don't spank your MPG by using air-con. But see #5 below.
1b
The convertible comes with its own special demisting issue which is that when you put the top down on a misty morning, the heated rear screen doesn't work whilst the roof is stowed, and so neither do the heating elements in the wing mirrors!
2.
I have 18-ways by way of compromise with my wife - if I had chosen for myself I'd have had full buckets as in my GT4 for a lower driving position and more legroom, but there's no clicking on my 18-ways
3.
I've not seen stone chips yet, but I'll go and have a look again now!
4.
I'd rather have any number of buttons than a "crash whilst you attempt to work it out" touchscreen. But anyway, the noisy exhaust button stays permanently on, so that's one less button to worry about the position of
5.
The trick is not to open the windows! Windows open = airflow directs rainwater from bonnet up windscreen, over roof, in through windows, onto lovely GTS pack deviated stitching and leather

Yes there's some issues, but its a darned good car and all the better for a bit of personality

thanks for the answers, and agree, nothing major here.

One more small one.. When the window wipers go to park position, they always splash a little bit of water back on the screen? is this everyone, or are my blades set up wrong?

On the misting/fogging, I've bought a bottle of Rain- X anti-fog, I'll get it on later and report back.

Have removed center bolster/padding from the seat, and re-assembled, for now it is quiet, fingers crossed..

How on earth did you remove the cushion without destroying the seat?

Be careful with Rain X. It's a pig to get on (or should I say off) properly and more than likely you'll end up with a permanently misted screen. Test it on a small area before you go to town to limit your regret. In saying that, if you get it right and don't mind a bit of permanent milkyness, it does actually work. My GTS never mists up and I always have aircon on set to 21.5 to 22.5 auto. Think something is wrong if you cant clear any car screen with aircon. Could be cabin water leak or leak in the heating system pushing steam up to your screen that is then condensing.

Pull it up then out, really easy, I didn't remove it completely just took top clip off and got my hand in there, more difficult to put back, but reasonably easy once got the knack, its still quiet fingers crossed.

Sounds to me like the reason it’s misting up is because you aren’t leaving it on auto with a temperature set, that’s how the system is designed to work, with the air on turned on and the car keeps a certain temperature.

Use it as climate control and it won’t must up, can’t believe you’re worrying about the air on using petrol in a 3 litre turbo sports car designed yo go fast, the air on really isn’t saving you penny’s by keeping it off, but it’s annoying you with a misted screen. (Assuming I’ve read it right that you don’t leave aircon permanently on and in auto mode)

No air on all the time @ 20 degrees. I've come to the conclusion that its because its sits for a few days, and gets damp, then my 12 mile commute isn't enough to full dry it

Did Horse shoe pass this weekend, number of stone chip/ road rash around rear arches is scary, its PPF'd but they are too deep to heal. But of course its not in the paint so all good.
