Have you opened it up and had a look for anything obvious?

not yet, someone on here sent me an exploded diagram but it didnt show a bulb. some internet searching seemed to hint at a light strip like a fluorescent strip. It also looked like a slightly different model and an absolute ball ache to access.

Y not

Needs a replacement unit. Light panel not available separately as it's not a simple bulb. OPC warranty covers them if you have it.

That was me hehe
From memory I think the replacement price is around £500. If an OPC is offereing to do the supply and replacement for this price it might be worth going down that route but I would check its not covered by the warranty first.

£500 ?! Thank fk I've got a warranty ! Hardly drive mine at night so don't really see the "illumination" but if one went I'd want it fixed.

just leave it, they are a funny option imo I don't get them myself and on older cars every thing electric or AC or electric seats always fails.

modern cars never make good classics.

ok, so i popped in to tonbridge porsche today. £486 for a replacement unit, and i dont think thats fitted. the tech guy i spoke to suggested just changing them for stainless door sills, i know its going to start bugging me.

Apparently these things are stuck on the sill and getting them off wrecks the wiring to the lights.

I had both replaced when the car was being repainted, cost was around £550 for the pair in stainless steel.
