I’ve had a cayenne hybrid on order from the first day it became available so top of the list. Was told November initially but now end of CY Q1 or early Q2. Bit frustrating to say the least.....

Also bewildered why you can spec the sport design pack on the European configurator but not the uk one (along with HUD) and no sign of the sports exhaust which I was told was coming....

I also paid a deposit on a Cayenne hybrid in May..Trouble is all Porsche hybrids have been cancelled for the foreseeable future, due to much stricter and more realistic WLTP tests.

Ohhhh, no HUD is going to be an issue for me. It’s the main reason I put the second order in.

SD kit went out of stock back in March, just as I was dithering about adding it to my current car frown Then a few months later the Hybrid press cars all popped up with SD kit, guess that’s where the last of the stock went smile

I suspect production of the Dash/Windscreens to accommodate HUD on RHD cars isn’t up to speed yet. Presume there are some small differences on SD Kit for RHD/UK vehicles aswell.

Given they can’t even get vehicles out the factory door right now, disappointing but not surprising :/

No diesels, no hybrids, no cars ! no news on when the Cayenne’s will be delivered (was told Q1 but now that is doubtful) and no 911 until June next year. Little used stock at the dealers and only 2l Macan new stock and a couple of new boxters which have to be sold before year end. Not a happy place at the dealers and staff leaving with nothing to sell. Porsche are not exactly supporting the dealers are they.

I can imagine those DP's who have invested (borrowed) large amounts for big shiny new showrooms during the past 5 years or so getting very nervous now.

Another month on and another and my last chase of the dealer for a firm delivery date. I need to be in a new car by April so looking at alternatives as running out of time.
Being told March build and April delivery. Anyone else got anything that is firm regarding delivery dates?

Dropping my Cayenne next week for investigation of the NAV unit crashing. Will ask them whats going on with my next order.

Personally not too bothered as this is only helping the residuals of my current car. I put the deposit for the second one down on the off chance this might happen. Was told Nov delivery at the time, so whenever the supply taps open I should be early in the list. Unless they flood the market when the taps do open, I might for once get out of a car with my pants in tact smile

The way the factory supplies info to OPC’s is something of a mystery to say the least. They’ll know the have build slots in a particular month and they’ll be given an indicated build date a couple of months before its due to be made but that can move even quite late in the process. Not unheard of for cars to turn up at OPC’s when the computer system is telling them it’s still at the factory!

Your OPC should be able to send you a screen shot showing the various expected progress dates of your expected build.

Part of the problem is that if an OPC needs to get info over and above the computer system they have to speak to Vehicle Planning at Porsche GB which is two people covering enquiries from every OPC in the UK....

Thanks for the replies. I have emailed the dealer and I will await the response. I was driving past another dealer and dropped in to ask lead time on a new Cayenne order and they said March/ April on a new order but only the base 3ltr as the S has not passed the WLTP test. I place my order in May and I am being told March/April.

My Turbo Cayenne was meant to be a December delivery, they now can’t give me a a month, they do not know, nor can they find out. It’s real bad at the moment with E hybrids being scrapped until lord knows. It’s a total nightmare

They appear to have been having problems for a while. At the beginning of the year my parents neighbour had a Macan GTS from the OPC for four months as her car was so late. Whilst she got to drive around for free, it must have been a come down when her bog standard Macan arrived :/

I wonder what theyre going to do for customers that are relying on their cars arriving. Going to be a big mess frown

For me I will wait for P to sort the act out. However, I had been looking at alternative manufacturers but none really had the drive speak of a Cayenne, I had a full fat Range Rover autobiography before my last Cayenne GTS lost loads on it and the only thing good about it was the ride. What I love about the fast Cayennes they drive a nearly a 911

Not offered me anything. Car was due Aug 18.

I have not cancelled the order yet because there is nothing to gain by doing so but its very unlikely we will go ahead. The dealer is telling me they will probably want me to finalise spec in the new year, late Jan probably. They are saying delivery April but might be later.

I've also looked at alternatives but nothing really appeals as much as a Cayenne.I love the new Alfa Romeo Slelvio quadrifoglio but still unsure about the quality aspect.

I saw the Milano Edizione in my local Alfa last year. It was their first one, so heavily optioned, perhaps that made it look better. But have to say it looked great inside and out. I've only seen one on the road since, so seem to be relatively rare at the moment.

Anyone been delivered an e-hybrid this year as yet?
OPC, east London, states no longer being built - at all - & have tried to persuade me to quickly move to (start of ) queue for the 'S' or even the base followed by 6months delivery wait, but yet on rennlist in US, folks across the pond are getting 2019 models quite freely - & even with discounts (ranging from 4-10%)!

Anyone SEEN any 2019 ehybrids on the road in UK?

Audi Q8 is a nice looking car with more than a whiff of Cayenne about it. I've seen a few on the road and if I was in the market for a large SUV then it would definitely be on my radar.
