OK Service and MOT time on my 996 C2 and after much umming and ahhing I've decided on going to a respected independent as opposed to my OPC (you never can trust them!).

I live in West London but work in Heathrow so any recommendations of good indies would be much appreciated...

I had a couple of suggestions on a previous post such as Northway & JZ but any more would be appreciated as I prefer collective good stories as opposed to single recommendations (not that I don't trust the induviduals who provided the recommendation)

Cheers
Dre

PS: just reading over my post it comes across as very cynical...I need to get out more

Mel, what sort of discount do we get by mentioning your name - or is there some other special treatment afforded to customers who mentioned the Merkin?

Thanks for the info so far...another question, whilst asking the dealers mention 'prices include' parts, labour and lubricants. Lubricants I understand although Northway say Mobil1 is not necessary (they use a texaco brand?!) but what parts are do they change? Sorry for all the questions but I'm sure you can tell I'm a newbie

Tognola gets the thumbs up from me and 200yds from Datchet station, a couple of quid later and you're in Windsor for a nice day out without worrying about the carparking!

Used tognola, jz & camtune. No complaints with any but found camtune to be the most thorough.

OK,

I've narrowed it down but not much...The one's I'm considering are -

JZ Machtech - £200 +vat
Tognola - £200 +vat
Northway - £135 +vat

Prices vary extensively

If anyone has had any bad experiences with any of these I would appreciate an email as per the PH forum rules. Cheers fella's

Northway get my vote

They have looked after the 930, my 924 race car, an old 944 S2 (sold) and a 964 (sold)

Cheers
