Wife is carrying a bit of weight after our second. She wants to lose weight but she's clueless about weight loss. I'm an ex bodybuilder, turned thin bloke, so despite my experience, she won't listen. I don't like fat birds, I just don't.
I've told her in all manner of ways, but I'm not sure it's sinking in.
We want a third (2 girls so far) but I'm really put off by her weight, sex life has dwindled.
I still love her, I like her company, everything about her, but I don't like sleeping with a fat bird. It's like I'm sleeping with someone else.
Can't go for a third until she loses a few lbs, but time is ticking.
Any sound advice?
Thinking about celebacy, garage extension and a V8.

Fork out for a Personal Trainer.Start doing all the food shopping/get delivered so fridge is full of lots of veg and stuff. Costs more, but healthy and tasty ready frozen/ preprepared stuff she can quickly grab and eat will helps.
Get very outdoorsey - so on a weekend, go for walks/hikes/get a national trust membership etc, Take packed lunches.
If kids are old enough, get bikes all around and go on cycling trip.
And so on. In short, get her moving and find ways for her to have tasty but healthier food.
Suggest you join a gym and clean up your diets together? So you can tackle it as a couple, motivate each other, meal prep and macro/calorie count with each other and hopefully both make the changes you want to make.
She would almost undoubtedly prefer you in better shape with a bit more of the muscle you used to have, being thin as a rake isn't terribly attractive either.
Excercise utmost tact and restraint in everything you suggest obviously. You haven't demonstrated much in your original post I hope to god you're more diplomatic discussing the situation with her

With 2 young kids yea good luck with that. She would almost undoubtedly prefer you in better shape with a bit more of the muscle you used to have, being thin as a rake isn't terribly attractive either.

“Go to the gym together” spoken by someone who clearly doesn’t have kids (or has an au pair)
It's not about losing weight, it's about losing body fat. Any doctor will tell you that.
Secondly, forget the idea of going to the gym to lose that body fat. Doing so can shift a bit, but the body is a very efficient and complex machine.
There's only one sure-fire way to lose body fat, and to keep it off, and that is a change of eating habits for good.
Forget the biscuits, the pies, the pastries, the sweets. No more cakes, no more cappuccinos with three sugars and kick alcohol into touch.
Do that for a couple of months and the pounds will drop off. Keep doing it and they'll stay off.
I'm not saying don't exercise, you/she most certainly should do so, but that ain't what's going to lose the lard.

No booze either makes a massive difference. Secondly, forget the idea of going to the gym to lose that body fat. Doing so can shift a bit, but the body is a very efficient and complex machine.

Also lots of sex helps too free exercise
1) Buy her size 8 lingerie and when she says it won't fit exclaim you didn't realise she was so fat.
2) Everytime you and her are out and you see a thin bird audibly make a phwoar sound so she knows what you like.
3) Tell her from now on you are just gonna lay there and she can do the work as you heard fat birds try harder.
