I don't understand the obsession with them

Why do people buy them? Are they just nice looking garden ornaments?

Who in here has one ....... and please tell me why

There is a huge interest in classic/vintage tractors supported by shows/road runs/ploughing matches etc. Many classic tractor magazines are available. As to Porsche tractors it's probably just something extra to collect for a car enthusiast.
With some people it's brochures or model cars or any other paraphernalia so why not a tractor from your favourite car maker!

Went to a country show last weekend.

Loved these two. Field Marshall, and a little grey Fergie...

I looked at getting a grey fergie a few years ago, mainly as a project for something to do. You can pick them up with a V5 for not a lot of money.

Whilst it would have been an enjoyable challenge and looked nice when finished not sure what I’d have done with it next??

Got a 996 instead!
