On the subject of garages, I've not booked one on previous events, I assume they allocate the garage numbers on the day?

For most TDO, If you have already booked - then they should be contacting you close to the event by email, or you get your allocation upon signing on.

thumbup Thanks, worth knowing. Always just stashed surplus kit in another mate's garage, but decided to get my own this time.

Fortunately first race , so still did not use the Kerbs to heavily ...... forget about GT4 strut support fracture , could have lost many bottles of wine.
Strange in those days scrutineering was lax as were many other things although I was black flagged near the end of qualifying for only having short sleeves . Did have a great set of "driving " gloves with holes in the back .
Few genuinely appreciate the very real dangers of driving in such driving gloves Peter ...

hehe
Driving gloves, yeh ok H we believe you more like it all got a bit out of hand with one of these ;-)

Did that fall out of your case JCsmile

Generally your surname will be on a card outside the garage when you arrive.

MSV send you an e-mail the day before the event with final instructions and a garage plan as a PDF attachment. smile

I'm booked on but my 'quiet' car I'm taking probably won't be ready. My other car will probably be too loud and I don't fancy quietening it. So I may have a place available but won't know until after the sound test or a few laps. If anyone is interested in a discounted place on the day, then pm me your contact number and I'd let you know if that's the result. MSV are ok with that.

Hi Guys - bit of a bummer but I can no longer make this. If anyone wants my space for what I paid for it please give me a shout. It was £229.00 which includes garage reservation. Cheers

Are any of you happy to have an enthusiastic passenger?

Yes. AFAIK the only 'rule' is it has to be a Porsche. Other than that, I'm pretty sure all welcome.

Well if you want to see what it's like being overtaken 15 times in one lap... hehe
