Some wicked photos folks, keep them coming.
The hyjack theme on anything about current values of new cars etc is great.

Why? Why would you open and read a thread with 'values' in the title and then ridicule the content?

Personally, I find your constant self congratulatory, 'older I get, faster I was' posting style objectionable but I don't feel the need to hijack all of your said posts with criticism.

Isn't there room for all on here without the need to ridicule everything you disapprove of?

Great thread. I'm joining in with a pic of drive over the black mountains early summer. The cars worth nothing really, but it puts a huge smile on my face when I get the time to enjoy it.

Great shot love Andorra btw.

Remember seeing your well track beaten 991.1 GT3 in OPC Chester some years back when I used to deal with them!

Black mountains and a black 944 is a good day out.

Yep, exactly - drove to Morzine via the D996, D948, D959 and a load more entertainingly named, windy and open roads, then got a weeks lift pass and a Megatower:

It was great, highly recommended.

I haven't been to Morzine for years! This has sparked my thinking about driving to the Alps again.

Not from this year as I sold it last year. But 22000 miles in 18months.

I’ll buy a manual next year and treat it just as irresponsibly

My biggest regret is not taking it to the alps because it was up for sale. I ended up keeping it for another year when it didn’t sell. It’s a mistake I won’t make with my next one.

I think I’ll buy the next one and the first drive will be to the alps

What colour deviated stitching in that 917 and is it as good as 911r’s Cayman R after he changed the spring rates?

And the moment there are some really fantastic images of these cars being enjoyed, rather than values and spec, Laurel and Hardy are nowhere to be seen.

Still waiting to hear all about 911R’s adventures in his perfect spec GT3. Surely he’s got some great tales of driving trips and track days to tell us about. Genuinely interested to hear what he does with his car. I know he spends almost every waking hour talking about values, but I really hope he finds the time to enjoy the car in the same way as others on this (now) interesting thread.
