I had a good poke around the RUF SCR at the Geneva show a couple of years ago. I prefer the Singer styling and interior, but I appreciate that the RUF would appeal to someone who likes the 964ish look and the simple interior. I was surprised that the RUF isn't lighter than the Singer given the greater use of carbon. Maybe the chassis and suspension setup are more modern on the RUF and it would have the advantage on the track, but the Singer looks and feels more special to me. I wonder how many SCRs have been made?

Just from that teaser shot it looks highly likely they have created their best commission to date.

It'll have the turbo engine from that Dakar-ish SUV, jacked up 911 thing. Looks like it could be nice though

Or how about a DLS engine in a regular Singer, now that would be a hot rod smile

I know this is the Singer thread, but lots of talk about RUF in here too. Have you seen the reviews by AutotopNL of the new carbon SCR and CTR?

911 fans with money are spoilt for choice right now.

thanks for sharing.
Green one has wonky fabric on the A pillar. Incongruous steering wheel. Cheap looking carbon parts. Everything looks too shiny and retina burning.
Yellow one aint much better.

Interesting switch gear, but meh all round I'd say.
