Great project, really hope you decide to go to original colour. What sort of money did it cost to get it over. Looks a great project to me, better than starting with a rust bucket.
Cost landed with 5% vat (historic) just over £20k , went via Belgium from Japan, still a few sound 911’s in Japan for £20-30 but It’s a lottery and I feel that Ive been lucky

Was going to fit clear glass, retro mod Singer xenon lights from USA (£2000) but saw them on a 911 964 in London and somehow looked a but odd. Not bad. Just a bit wrong looking. Anyway if it aint broke no need to fix so original 911 headlights it is. More money saved

Colour choice is proving tricky. I want Lancia Integrale Evo 2 flat dark Lord Blue. I have seen it in the flesh on this Bentley and it’s the right blue. Not too dark. Not too light. And flat. I called the nice people who built this pre war monster and they told me it was Fiat Lancia Lord Blue...well you could have knocked me over with an 8 litre blunderbuss

Great work, following with interest. Although I think I might be alone in having some strange regret about the demise of the barchetta-911 cross.
