Is that buyer’s premium not a little strong?

Those Turbo S' are lovely! Agree with the above though, 12.5%+VAT on top of the auction win is going to hit the offers I would think!

Who keeps a 2.7 Targa for 40 years without driving it? Crazy but strangely appealing car.

I'm more interested in the current owner. Must be quite a mover and a shaker.

I'm not sure if it's 1 guy's or some Porsche UK cars ? or a comination of the 2 ? or possibly more but there are some fine machines in there, likely to go to multiple collectors ?

That orange GT3 RS................

An 89 Targa Supersport ... .....Suggested price of around £100K .

Blimey. They were jus about unsellable 10 years ago at around £12K

It will be interesting to see if prices are still strong.

they all look very over valued to me, but time will tell.

I looked at the 86 3.2 and though £50k i'll have a bid, it's est is min £70k !!

even all the min est are very high unless that does inc the fee's ! but I don't see why it would.

The auctioneers feel the SSE targa is circa £90k to £110k. I see that car at £75k. Targa's leak and rattle and do not look as pretty IMO.I don't think they managed the expectations of the vendor very well at all truth be told.

Ish.

I had an '89 SSE ragtop and it didn't rattle. It was surprisingly good to drive actually. On a sunny day, as mentioned on the other thread, a perfect high days and holidays car.

The point is, these auction cars will never see the rain, and will be bought by currently-bored rich people. I think they will be seen as (or excused as) investments.

I love targas too my fave uncle had one in silver in early 80s just pointing out some of the downsides smile

I know of a time warp 15000 mile G50 SSE Coupe that sold for 95k recently and that was after being hawked about at four different dealers over the last 4 years so if the targa makes more the 90k inc fees I'd be impressed. I would not bid past £75k inc fees personally.

I'd be interested in the black 993 RS if she's original panel and goes for lower end of guide. However I can see that one especially in black setting a record at circa £400k including fees so guide maybe conservative on that one.

Some lovely vehicles there, quite a collection. If these are the part of the collection being auctioned off, imagine what else is in the ‘keeper’ pile!

For some nice examples and 12.5% + VAT, I would have expected some more professional photographs.

I think some of the estimates look reasonable (ignoring the buyers commission). 964 RS and both 993 Turbo S’s look right to me. Turbo S on collecting cars recently was bid to £270k and didn’t sell.

That orange RS is about on the money, despite the fees, Low miles, possibly low owner and service history dependant ?

996 GT3 could be interesting at the low end of the range.
However basically no info ('low milage' lol) and no pictures..
