Now that is a good deal, didn't know ECP did parts for Porkers.
Look for Sebro discs and Textar pads there as they are same as OE....they make them for Porsche

Eurocarparts sister site CarParts4less is the best I've found.

To join in on this thread:

I'm running a 200+k miles 997.1 C2 as a semi daily.
The former (and second owner, I'm the third) did 20k miles p.a. too. He had the car serviced twice a year, and did any work that needed doing, since he depended on the car running all the time.

Now the car is on it's second engine, since an IMS failure killed the first engine @100k miles.
It was replaced under Porsche warranty with a AT engine that has the bigger bearing.
Oil consumption is practically inexistent (about 0.5l/6k miles).

These cars love to be driven regularly. Of course there are things that either can or will go wrong, but this is normal wear and tear mostly.
Prepare to do an oil change every 10k miles and fix everything that needs to be fixed in time.

They are superb cars and more than up to what you plan to use them for.
Also, a vanilla C2 with no PASM and no Sports Chrono, but with the 3.6l engine is an absolute peach!! (But then I would say so).

Evening All,

thought I'd do an update as this has been left adrift.

So after a bit of research, looking around and speaking to a few garages, I decided to go for a Z4M Coupe. As I wanted to avoid the "911 Money pit", so the Z4M has cost £3420 in 4 months......

I'm still using the GTD to drive to and from work on Monday / Thursday. But from Oct next year work will be in the ULEZ zone, but the flat will not be. So I will have to modify my routine.

For now Euro4 Petrol is exempt meaning that my R8 and Granturismo can go in both with 4.2 litre V8s but my wife's 2.2 Diesel Evoque can not.
That's just the start though they will tighten it and tighten it

I would love to use a 997 as a daily, 80 mile round trip commute...

Keeping an eye on prices as they are coming down a little now.

Can't imagine a Z4M would be more economical or comfortable than a 997.

I'd also imagine a Z4M would be more mileage sensitive than a 997.

What do you use the Z4M for and do you intend to keep it long term?
