lol you guys are fun

ok here we go....
being a BMW fan and OWNING the CSL as a daily and the V8's comps etc

I also own a M4 DTM, as the M4 was the new proper M3 really, no 4 doors a real M car hence the M4 took over the 2 door M car king status.
The last one being the the 450BHP orange GTS models where there is only 7 in the UK and ONE ON CC atm ! yum yum

The DTM is rare, much rarer than any porker these days, with only 22 UK models (less now as some have been exported to Hongkong)
So out the box my car has a real 500bhp, 3 way coilovers, CCB, Forged wheels, Carbon every thing, Roll cage, Full Recaro buckets, Ti exhaust, Carbon drive shafts, carbon doors and it listed at £136k. The GT2 RS of BMW land and every thing BMW can throw at the car. EVEN OLED lights at £6k !!

And it scares the life out of me to drive it, it's 80% GT4 race car. makes a CS look and feel a bit tame to be honest.
And I think still holds BMW's fastest car at the ring time.

I bet neither of you have even heard of it. lol

just sayin.

As for which M is best e30 M3 Sport EVO maybe. fastest well the one I own of course. I did love my CSL and the V8 era engine was wonderous but the small tank and VERY low mpg pissed me right off.

Had to be me though :-) petrol for blood ....

ps you do HAVE TO lean the CSL, it takes a while to gel with that box and settings, mode 4 over 5 and a throttle lift like a manual worked best.
BMW make great drivers cars. well did, the new ones ruined !! but that little M2 CS is a hoot.

BMW lost their way when they went turbo.
For me, CSL and Z3 MCoupe were their finest creations. Glad I make you laugh. Then again you are the Mr know it all of performance cars smile

I shouldn't really bite, but if you own a DTM, ill drink my own piss.BMW couldn't give them away,85k was the lowest I saw for sale and brand spanking new . Here is the perfect place for you, it's very liberal and you sir would get shot to pieces with your so-called knowledge of every car that has been built , and that you have owned. I've said it before, you're a Walter.

the E30 M3 Sport EVo must get the nod

But if you think a Z3 beats the E30 M3 Sport EVO as their finest creations then every one has an opinion I guess.

All 22 cars were pre sold at £136k the early cars fetched £150k but that soon vanished, there are only 21 UK cars left or less.
NO new car was £85k as they were all pre sold at list ! but you can buys cars with a few miles on for £85k now or a del miles one for £95k

ps I have no idea what a "Walter" is, the only one I have heard of is Walter Röhrl and he's pretty cool guy.

They were not all presold at all, same as the GTS, they were dumped on to dealerships to try and sell.None were ever resold at 150k.

Flappy paddle gearbox AND turbo ? Definitely NOT a driver's car then ? More a very lazy driver's car surely ?

I do wonder about PH members lol a funny lot.

all were pre sold and the Likes of Romans and Top55 were early sellers at big overs.

the GTS were unsold and 500 WW cars, the DTM is only 200 cars WW and 22 UK cars all pre sold in the boom overs market. is what it is, again nothing to prove.
And who cares ?

I've had it 2 years, nothing new, I just don't go about gloating of forums for some arse licking, it's not me.

NOW about that piss drinking. with a custard tin and the word "sorry" printed on a A4 sheet. (if it were not for the piss drinking, I would not have posted pics) but some times people do need a slap ;-)

GT3, but the DTM is more an event and more hardcore, very short ratio's a real 500BHP, 600NM torques and 285 tyres !!
M-DCT thumps you in the back on shift and you just tend to over grip the wheel for your life as it spins up in 3rd on a straight !
You have to turn traction off as it too nanny even in MDM mode so very scary.

Last of a era car, the new M3 weights in at 1805 kg, the ZF slush box, and lower rev limits is a backward step :-(

A total handfull and feels like the Starship enterprise on warp 8.

Bit big for me, but the best of the best BMW can do. Even Sitting still in it feels very special, a quality product and very bespoke hence the £136k price tag.
And for sale if anyone interested. Been there done it, need to sell some stuff.
