Missing initial service evidence might well put some off at that money, but given it's history in the UK it will be a great car I'm sure.

Strange that it's not got "GT2" embroidered in the rear shelf is it not? I've never seen a GT car without that before

I know it's not a Porsche, but looks like Chris Harris's old E30 M3 is up for grabs.

Didn’t watch the auction but that’s a good price.

I’d say that’s bang on .

Makes a mockery of those asking more for a gen 1

Goes to show real world selling prices are massively different to what certain dealers are sell trying to advertise cars for.

Be interesting to see if we see a dealer trying to punt this on for a 25k profit after they have given it a quick wash with a bucket of fairy.

Previously sold for £95k plus commission ... but it looked a nice car ...

The ex-Chris Harris car didn't sell ... though I thought the price reached around £120k ??

True. However, they are at an age now where condition, service history, owners etc. have a major impact. Still, I wouldn't want to be a dealer trying to sell one for over £120k (there's actually a few other red ones for sale at the moment, mainly Comfort ones).

As the last owner, I did try helping the guy - it had a service during Covid so had no stamp. He could have easily had that done. However, he ignored it and then went to an independent. A fair enough move, but it had an unblemished FPSH.

Oh, and it was rev checked recently too! Instead, he lazily re-advertised with no changes from when it didn't sell last time. IMO, exactly how not to sell a car. And that showed in the price.

Just curious, why couldn't a stamp be used during covid?

Ashgood did it for me at peak covid (in fairness, I insisted) when technically nothing was meant to be happening at all. The local OPC did it for them as a favour, and forgot to stamp the book.

€935 euro so €943.4 all in. Surprised it didn't sell TBH.

Now showing as sold at around £145k ... clearly that the way to do it, reasonably high reserve which it does not reach and then negotiate with the top bidders smile

Just for clarity the £145k ish was the price of the ex-Chris Harris M3 ... the red GT3 sold (is now showing as unsold) for well below its previous sale price but looked a nice car ... possibly a few complicated questions asked towards the end ... how do you get a compression test done very close to the auction close ?

But how many cars are sold with compressions tests ?

I guess if you want the best price you should answer all these questions within the description and before others can sow a doubt that cannot easily be resolved within the auction time.

It's a fine line between asking a question that is relevant to a potential mis-description and one that is scare mongering for some reason ?

Let’s not forget we are now in a difficult market, only the very best will sell and even those will be selling at far lower prices than historically.

Wonder why the buyer pulled out.
