Tough game the car game, you buy a car for £15,200 have to go and get it, retail it pay associated costs perhaps offer discount to new buyer to stop it from hanging around too long.
5k margin IF it sells at the full sticker price, less tax and overheads/warranty.
Fair play to them but seems like a hard way to make a living sometimes..

So it got to £10k less than that on CC - the price the market sees it at - so the owner sticks it up for £10k more! I have to say I now find the site very hard to use. Three Porsches I have been interested in recently.
It seems if they don't think the service history will help so they don't post it, you then have to ask for it which takes days and then when they do post the owners say I don't know how to post it and then if It does finally go up it's incomplete.
Then if they don't like the look or the timings of the service history they say car was last serviced at x miles (could have been 1990) with no mention of who did it..So you have to ask, again.
Then they don't school the sellers in answering questions so days go by, you would think you take the trouble and cost to have you car photographed why not go the whole hog and tell the sellers they will get a better price if they remain diligent in helping buyers understand more about their 'pride and joy'
I have now decided to use respected dealers only or private ads with vast amounts of info from a clearly passionate owner.
It works for trade where there are virtually the same two bidders on EVERY car who can knock it out by patching it or the history up but for the enthusiast it's become hard work....
