Thought what a great spec- lovely colour and rare......
The description makes it look one for the brave- ‘oil leaks but they don’t merit rectification because the engine pulls strongly’- !!??
No service book.

Looks interesting. If it were a C2 I’d be interested in that. I think that the C4 is an under rated car but I would always default to a C2 for my requirements dynamically and for weight saving

Very normal for 964's to leak a bit of oil if they've not had a rebuild. There's a number of places oil can be found, without meaning there's an engine issue.

The car looksnice steve, hard part now is finding a good chassis donnor,Singer to blame for that, the 4 wheel drive can always be put on the shelf, just need to find a gearbox, great colour.Parts could be sold off, engine to be rebuilt any way.Put a lwt loom in.
I have a genuine Numbered 993rs gearbox available !
Just seen it has a sunroof, frown

The vendor on the 964 looks to be preventing a bidder from inspecting in person given C19 restrictions which is understandable - It's a brave shout to buy such a car with limited history unseen/without a decent inspection IMO.

6 years back I bought a 964 carrera 2 that had some minor oil leaks - although not indicative of a major issue they constantly did my head in and at the time I couldn’t justify the expense of an engine out rebuild.
I suppose it depends on what the hammer price is regarding if this car is worth the potential costs involved- still at 45k with less than an hour to go.

You've got to treat 964 oil leaks for what they are - a bonus - free rust prevention!

There is a 1989 3.2 Super sport ‘Turbo’ which may interest someone here if something a little different flicks your switch.

1 owner from new by looks of it, all original, best colour... this one is going to drum up some interest and discussion, and no doubt go pretty high!

Yes that’s a car well known in these parts. Saw it at the Caffeine and Machine meet about this time last year and was lucky enough to go for a passenger ride in it. Condition is incredible for a car of that mileage....mad to sell it in my opinion ! If I hadn’t just bought an air cooled RS of my own I’d be on the case.

Saw that.
Looks a bit ‘chavvy’ (am I allowed to say that?) to my eyes.
Fuchs would help, but the original bumpers and a non-spoilered engine lid would give it a much classier appearance, IMO.

The yellow 964 is a stunner.

Not CC I know but thought this was worth sharing (no affiliation etc, just like it a lot)

Surprising to see that Panamera Turbo S go for £40k last night. It was very basic spec, 3 different brands of tyre, incomplete service history and a pretty undesirable colour / wheel combo. The mileage was pretty low in fairness, circa 27k miles for a 2015 car. Similarly aged / mileage cars with much better spec and FPSH on AT have sticker prices of mid £40k.

Just reads like a car that's not been looked after properly. Don't understand why you'd buy a Turbo S and not do something basic like running the right tyres. Well I do...because you don't want to spend the money.

Barge pole !

Absolutely!

Weirdly, it was being offered by a trader rather than private sale. I’m amazed bidders weren’t deterred....lockdown boredom perhaps.
