One of my school mates owns this combo, I'm fairly sure he paid under £1000 for it.
Nice car nothing plate. What does it mean are they his initials?

My dads friend had THE 911 in the 80's - he sold the plate late 80's iirc for an eye watering sum (back then) I seem to recall it went on a speedster in Scotland but might well have moved on by now

Great plate! Will be worth a lot of money. Could well be 5 £figures. I have a single number 3 letter plate on my car at the moment but just fancy a 911 plate.

Think Glenvarigill used to own that plate. They also had a couple of others which I was told they sold to Porsche Cars UK cars when they sold the business.

This was my old plate. Sold now along with the car but I thought it looked pretty good.

That looks like a ‘keeper’ combination to me, can’t think how you could improve. frown

I don’t see anything wrong or naff about a 911 plate...... it just looks neater imho than having a full 7 digit plate.
I purchased 911 US privately several years back and don’t regret buying it.....
Have a couple of posts Regarding 911 US been removed or am I tired? confused

Do we need to draw attention to how someone spends their money in this way? I know MHH published the photo and the prices are in the public domain, nevertheless I find it a bit crass to do this.
A very good friend of mine purchased 911 MH from the DVLA auction in 2001 (The price shown in the photo). So i have no idea what MHH paid for it. I don’t particularly want to either. However you can jump to your conclusions if you want. biggrin

"THE 911" used to frequent some super car days at Knock hill back in the 90's. Scotland does have 911 GT on a 911 GT , i have old photos lurking somewhere from back then.
