You’re stressed ! I should sell tickets to a zoom call where you can watch me implode and melt down all at once
ha ha - at least you hold on to the car until the buyer's money is in the bank and you set a reserve at what you are happy to receive. for todays environment it's a good forum for selling a car. but stress free it ain't ! RSVP911 said:
Someone came to view today - just watched the whole thing with a sad sinking feeling - please can I borrow yours if it goes ?
of course - it's only a car, mixture of metal, paint and plastic. although, i did have to go and have a peak at it in the garage just now just to appease myself that the paint is still thick and lustrous, unlike the RPM car just posted.

That was me!
My missus bought me some old Porsche mags as a pressie. I do remember you could buy a 964 RS in the twenties though; the images I posted was when they were actually on the way up.
What's interesting is they weren't really any low mileage garage queens advertised (there were 7 cars advertised in that particular magazine). Yet, 15 years on, suddenly they're all mint, low mileage cars. I can't help feel a little cynical given how easy it is to unplug the odometer on them.
Back to the more important subject of fast Renaults, I've been in a R26.R at the track day and it was a similar drive to my 182 Trophy, just with more grip. I personally found myself happier back in the Clio, it was slower but more fun. I also wasn't a fan of the Megane's darth vader induction, compared to the Clio's naturally aspirated intake noise.
Out of the nine hundred Lotus Cortinas produced by Ford, only fifteen hundred still exist today. My missus bought me some old Porsche mags as a pressie. I do remember you could buy a 964 RS in the twenties though; the images I posted was when they were actually on the way up.

I know a number of ex Integrale owners who are now enjoying their GR's. As much as i'm drawn to them I cant imagine it would be anymore than a fling

Superb cars, my best mate's very nice one is coming on Collecting Cars this week.
With 6 days to go its over 18k already.......In its defence, it really is a good example in a rare colour-I’d actually say the advert doesn’t convey just how well it’s been looked after.
As he’s a member of the RAC (the club not the breakdown service) and is 60 this year I said he should have made more of it in the advert like that woman in her 70s who had one

We have a group chat and we were all astounded last night when the bids kept rolling in!

I'm no expert on the value of these things but by the looks of it your mates car might be setting the new benchmark !In its defence, it really is a good example in a rare colour-I’d actually say the advert doesn’t convey just how well it’s been looked after.

I don't really agree, the cheapest one on PH is £27k and the only cheaper one on Autotrader is the one that was first owned by the 70 year old lady. It's bounced around 3 different dealers for 2 years now with various issues. We know someone who was offered it as trade for £16k and turned it down.If my mate's goes for around £20k I reckon it's a bit of a bargain-I can certainly see it at a dealer's for £25k and it selling-it needs zero spent on it.
