I’m interested in this GT2RS however I am determined to acquire the matching watch that goes with it.
The advertisement for this £365,000 car states that the accompanying watch is also available via separate negotiation.

What roughly is the watch worth?
Does anyone know what the list price was?
Also, I have quite thick wrists - are extra long straps available and how much are they?

I can’t help you, but at 365k I would expect the watch to come with the car.
Looks like new price was 9.5k euros

To be fair and in the vendors defence if they manage to shift the car for £365,000 -that’s only around £135,000 over list price so he perhaps needs to skank a deal out for the watch.
I’ll see how it goes….

Staggering you have that amount of money to spend yet can’t perform a Google search on what the original price was, which was $11,000 and what they cost today. I am not knocking you for your purchase or wealth, good luck to you, but I am staggered you haven’t heard of a thing called Google Search. Blimey.

I was thinking just this. If list was £235k i'd struggle to pay more than that. I'm not sure I'd be willing to pay £235k even today with the benefit of hindsight TBH. Too much for a 911.

Am in two minds about it - it might be the last 2 RS without any hybrid element which will most likely change the weight and character substantially (4wd in the future?). I think the UK list price was actually ok, that’s what I would have to pay for a 992 Turbo S in Germany atm - the German list price was too high at I think basically 320k plus incl WP/spec (although clearly they sold plenty of cars). It is not a rare car though, so I wouldn’t be surprised if you can pick one up for less than 200k at some point (e.g. if rates ever increase again). If the figures I read are correct there are about 9x as many as 997 GT2RS, so that’s the one to buy if you want it to retain value - one of the rarer 911s and it will always have the title of most powerful manual 911

997 GT2 RS sat at my local OPC for 18 months unsold. Was very close to saying yes but also felt £165k was stupid money for a 911 my fault for being such a pussy hehe

I crashed my GT2, with the RS it would have probably happened at even higher speed .... I still look at the RS from time to time though, would quite like to own one (I am now a more careful driver if probably still not better).

Was ten mins down the road from me and I let her go to Malaysia. I wasn't sure about the two tone colour scheme but wish I'd just done it.

991 in PTS Aqua Blue as above 997. Incredible joe public can buy cars with this level of power without anything other than a driving test!

991.2 RS is always going to be expensive here....we got so few because of the EU emissions changes. 120 cars I think.

I’d never pay £300k plus for one but plenty have changed hands in that price bracket. I’d love to drive one !

Fair, I meant a LHD car at 200k Euros given the total production numbers. That would be a substantial discount to list, so might never happen / ultimately you need willing sellers to get there and not sure how many owners will “need to sell” this type of car.

The GBP 300k is IMO not even that ridiculous given that is the list price and current resale price in Germany (sameish tax as UK, so kind of comparable) for a WP car - it is just that they were really cheap (relatively speaking) in the UK

Original poster has zoned out and left the chat. Waste of time and probably was just utter BS from them .... anyone with that supposed wealth to spend on a watch will be switched on enough to do their own research. What a muppet

Oh lord, what a muppet.....
My post was 100% with irony about wanting
a £365,000 car and having to negotiate separately for the poxy watch to accompany it. Never mind.
