Porsche Exeter has 8 new 911s for sale, all of which seem to be priced aggressively under list. I don't think many other OPCs are doing this yet?
Are they sensible spec, or bonkers spec? Are you still paying for stuff you don't want?

Such a desperate seller should sell privately and ask about £150k.
How many people would be prepared to spend £150k on a private sale? Very few, I suspect.

Given the time of year, no surprise that the numbers are still going up

Will be more interesting to see what happens in the spring...
Boxsters, Caymans and Macans with a basic spec seem to selling a day or two.The list of over-specced, expensive cars just grows and grows.

All but one Boxsters/Caymans are £61k+ (most are £70k+) and all but one Macans are £76k+ – madness!

Great chart, as always.

So, they've sold nearly 200 Taycans over the holiday period...hmmm

If you're talking about depreciation, I would say a high spec S will depreciate more than a low/zero spec GTS assuming you are paying an equivalent % off list price for both. Options generally depreciate much faster than the base car; I'm fairly certain there is no residual value for options if taking a PCP - you pay for all the options in the monthlies and get nothing back at the end of the term i.e. the optional final payment is the same regardless of spec. Some manufacturers, like BMW, make it easier to spot this on their online PCP calculator.
Agree.

All the semi-sensibly priced new Macans seem to have been sold. The stuff left is bonkers prices or weird spec eg base Macan at £76.5k or Copper Ruby S for £85k.

Maybe we should rename this thread to "Less & less brand new Porsches immediately available"? biggrin
Do we believe that 343 Taycans have been sold in the last month?

That's fine if you've got so much money depreciation is irrelevant, but for many the loss is a key consideration.

£50k for a 2 year old taycan on collecting cars just now. 6000 miles.

So that’s about 50% loss after a couple of years.
Or what you'd expect on a second hand car???
No. The rule of thumb was always a car lost 50% of its value after THREE years.

They're not tescor's numbers – they're Porsche's numbers!
