I’m sure plenty are watching waiting to see what happens with the market, they haven’t even really started to drop in price if you ask me. It’s only the over priced stuff which is currently getting adjusted down.

The increase in car numbers available is sure sign buyers have either left or waiting to see what happens.
Many of these newly available new cars will be cancellations. Original buyer no longer sees the "can't lose with a new Porsche" justification. Replaced with sure-fire depreciation and higher price/finance costs.

Porsche have also put a lot of pressure on increasing new car prices, which has also made a lot of people with deposits in place now think twice and ask for their deposits to be returned.

Most people would think that car has got too much going on….too much yellow inside and the spoiler is marmite for a lot of people. It’s a bit too “trying to be a GT3” for me.

But I am guessing you like it and that is the most important thing.

I’d definitely prefer it without the spoiler but love the colour inside & out. I’m put off most ‘stock cars’ as they’re nearly all black leather.

Yellow is very niche come re-sale but if it's your thing, don't hold back.

This.

Yellow is a marmite colour and narrows your resale market.
I dont mind a yellow ferrari or lamborghini but I'm less sure on a porsche.
Probably because most porsches are boring Conservative colours.

Like the aerokit and only porsche enthusiasts will know its not a GT3 so if flashing is your thing go for it

I’m not fond of the aero kit but love the yellow. Not bothered about the residual as I’d be using a PCP.

I think car is a non starter for me though as I need a heated steering wheel and I don’t think it has one.

Yellow paint outside looks great on 911. Painted bits inside less so.

Wing? ..a matter of your taste. Not many go for this, so tells something about resale market.

I like the yellow, probably would prefer without the wing. Nice to see that there are some Porsches that are not in a shade of grey.

Just to throw my opinion into the mix..

Have just swapped out of a 992 Carrera GTS RWD with Aero kit.. My centre had it back in part X for my 992 Targa GTS, they had 4-5 other GTS for sale for ages before mine came back, it sold within a week as it had aero kit and with it being discontinued i guess it become like any discontinued items.

However i did take a serious bath on the part x price but i guess as there's lots of used or nearly new GTS on the market

To not be bothered about the residual is ridiculous, it doesn't change the fact it's a £170k car and the residual directly effects your monthly payments and final payment, should you keep the car that long. The car is not cheaper as you are using PCP, in fact with finance it will be closer to a £200k car.

Love it apart from the black wheels. Best thing I ever did with my Cayman was refurbing the wheels silver from the factory black. I can see the wheel design now smile

PCP is designed to confuse the folks who don't understand the maths.

PCP is the most expensive way to buy.

The mental gymnastics used to justify PCP is hilarious.

However, in that poster's case, I took his ambivalence about the residuals to mean he'd be handing it back for the GFV at the end of the term anyway, so would have a complete 3/4 year cost from the outset.

So the residual will dictate the depreciation and therefor loss so to ignore this is a bit naive.

Couldn’t, agree more. The lower the residual, the higher the monthly payment and hence the 3 or 4 year cost though there will be some netting off of the interest you are charged on the residual - if you see what I mean. That is! if you do not intend paying the balloon and hand the car back. If, on the other hand you intend settling the balloon and keeping the car then a lower residual will be lower cost overall as you are paying off more of the capital in the monthly payments and hence paying less interest. PCP has, as others have said become a very expensive option now. I bought my last Porsche cash rather than PCP when I saw that the interest payments would have amounted to £ 20 K

Just a word of warning that when you paste Autotrader links like that, your entire search query is in the link - including the postcode. So if someone fancied nicking a not-inconspicuous yellow car in a few weeks, they'd have a good idea where to look for one frown

PCP is expensive for a reason. That reason/benefit as far as I’m concerned is the ability to return the car with no further liability at the end of the agreement. That’s a real benefit if cars like this lose value due to petrol costs, more legislation etc.

Of course the residual is part of the deal but I price the car as deposit + sum of the monthlies = total cost of having the car for the period. Do you know a better calculation?

Thank you. I think/hope I’ve corrected that now?
