Lots of brand new Porsches immediately available

Those immediately available ones are still at least 10% over the 'build and wait' price
And the number available rises every day, as does the number of nearly new.Buyers are scarce, new car orders are being cancelled. The wait for new is getting shorter...
The "available now" price premium cannot survive

38 new 992 's available today. things not looking good for the opc's unless there is a mad rush for 911's after the summer hols lol
I checked 6 and they all appear to be offered at a discount to the configurator price as well like a new Turbo S for £171k vs £180 list. Opc will make out they are flying, but they’re still living off the covid back log. They can only do this for so long.
What we are seeing now is cancelled cars dealer have had to pre reg or will eventually have to pre reg. Each opc is committed to taking a certain volume of each version from porsche HQ and this year the opc have higher production volumes to deal with than ever before.
Porsche share holders want max return and that will only come from volume, that mega factory can’t sit still eating profits.
How long before we see 50 plus unregistered new 992 cars available plus god knows how many pre reg cars.

As mentioned before the config price is for my24 prices so alot of dealers seem to be trying to fleece customers. ones which seem to have discount are probably at my23 or even above. discounts are yet to comeGT4RS said:
And that’s before you show some real interest and ask for a discount!

I said 60 by mid august, seems to be heading that way. going to be alot of cars in dealer compounds when porsche ag start sending cars built to clear out parts making way for .2 cars.Opc will make out they are flying, but they’re still living off the covid back log. They can only do this for so long.

The improvements are barely noticable. Slight bump in power, small exterior changes mainly to front bumber and main one is full digi instrument cluster for driver which may not go down to well with some customers. the rumored hyprid is still a few years away according to most reports isee.

Is there a physical difference between a MY23 and MY24 car?I know list prices have increased, but if the cars are the same, then a comparison of current price to list price should rightly be to current MY24 list price...

I dont think so. my understandin is my24 car prices are for cars ordered now to be delivered sept 24 onwards.I know list prices have increased, but if the cars are the same, then a comparison of current price to list price should rightly be to current MY24 list price...
if as is suggested lots of these cars are cancelled orders then they were ordered at my 23 price and had customers proceded then they would be charged my 23 price. therefor the opcs are trying a fast one and now trying to charge my24 prices. not really an issue as they arent really selling anyway lol

That's my view as well, if there is no difference in the car and there is a difference of 10k on taking the one in stock vs ordering one, seems like a discount to me.
