All the fair weathers bailing? Some of us have 4 year old Cup 2’s to kill.
I have faith we will get a dry(-ing) patch during the day.
Dont mind it starting off damp… ensure egos stay in check with some code-browns moments for the over-enthusiastic.

I’ll certainly be pootling!
Look forward to seeing you guys, taffy said its digga round next as he disappeared to the toilets when it was his turn to buy a round.;)

Looking forward to this tomorrow, having visited for years and am finally driving!

I have messed up though, as I didn't book a garage!

Looks like damp/wet so care is the order of the day!

RS day delivers again….

AM was wet and v.COLD. so tbh i didn’t bother going out. Just took some pax laps.
Sun came out at 12noon. 10-12°c. Perfect damp to drying. Excellent.
Kept the faith and was duly rewarded.

Brilliant opener to the season.

Incredible day! Track was sensational in the afternoon. What a difference. Driving standards really good apart from the odd bell end here and there!

Big T as always showing us a clean pair of heels!!

Great day, had a blast! I was super careful in the morning rain, but managed to push on a bit in the afternoon!

Was a good day. Nice to meet you too Peter.

Enjoyed both morning and afternoon sessions. Two days in one ! And increasingly enjoying the 991

A day of two very different halves in terms of weather, but exemplary driving etiquette throughout IMHO. Huge mix of cars and drivers in terms of speed and ability but everyone seemed to be looking out for one another.

First minute or so in one of the very cold, wet and slippy morning sessions. Rest shows just how nicely it dried out for the afternoon. Happy days.

I live nearby so bobbed over for a late extended lunch hour! Glad I left it until later on.
Great to see you guys actually using your cars esp the recent RSs and Spyder.
Your black GT4 was very impressive under braking going into Old Hall.

The car sounds great, was going beautifully.

I noticed in that second wet session, that you’d had some trouble with cars you caught up ‘not noticing’ the blue lights. I guess some people don’t like being overtaken by a 40 year old car? hehe

I saw the blues at Knickerbrook chicane and you were a long way back and assumed (correctly) the car you’d just passed was the reason for them, because you were still a good way back in my mirrors. I picked a nice place for you to pass - please tell me you were on proper wet tyres?

Hey man cheers for the reply - car actually belongs to my pal who was there in his 997 GT3 so me and the Mrs were out in the (yellow) Sub as its called, such a cool little car.

Yes I did have some issues with blue flags when it was wet on the morning catching folk at each corner but them powering away on the straights - all good tho no harm done.

Thanks for the nod-by, much appreciated.

Tyres were "Michelin's Pilot Exalto PE2 is an entry level ultra high Performance summer tyre" biggrin

Yes it’s always great to catch up with everyone. Most people there seem to know each other.

I’ve tried PDK’s and really like them - they work exceptionally well - but I am just wired-up a bit old school. I enjoy the lack of refinement of the Mezger and the manual ‘box.

Me and my son had great fun in the Dakar, the morning especially was epic.
I was blown away with how capable the car was on track with standard tyres.
Great day all round.
Anyone capture my Dakar going round?

Such an ace looking car too. It’s a shame they didn’t open the rally circuit up for you to have a hoon round.

Thanks for the ride in the 991 GT3, you had bigger balls than me in the rain, getting it all sideways! 😆
