Does anyone know if you can get one of those rear spoilers for a Boxster S?

I want one!

Me too!

It's got a rear spoiler. Looks identical Don't you have that little button at the bottom left of the console to manually raise it?

Yeah it's got one, but not like the Cayman. The Boxster's looks like an airbrake on a glider's wing whereas the Cayman's is more like the upper (extending) part of the 996 Turbo's wing.

Some trivia....

It was originally designed with a spoiler identical to Boxster, but due to the aero effects of the rear lid and rear quarter configuration, it was not efficient enough at higher speeds. Therefore, they had to change the design to an aero wing rather than just a spoiler...
Don't think it will be swappable without a rear PU and drive units etc (might even be hydraulic rather than just motor drive)

I'm still trying to figure herr Hans and Fritz in the Porsche AG marketing brainstorm:

- Ya, das sound gutt!

Perhaps Porsche aren't marketing the car to 12 year olds?

This is the car that I'd have, if money wasn't a barrier - period. Alois Ruf will turn this car into the best exotic daily-driver since the NSX, with a compact footprint which will thread twisty backroads and snarled traffic with equal ease. Just imagine an 'Evo' Cayman with an 'aspro' 400 bhp motor, and traction to (more or less) keep up - Goodbye Ferrari...
Further, I think that it's the best-looking Porsche since the 904, with none of the subtle 'bloating' of the recent 911 models. To me, it's where Renault could have gone with the Alpine, rather than the what became the poor, maligned A610.
Sooner or later, one of these Will Be Mine!
