I found that whenever I went around corners at speed the stiff suspension meant that the inside rear wheel would always lift and look to break traction. The LSD counteracted that by putting that wasted effort into the wheel with the grip. I noticed the difference when my LSD failed and getting the power on through the corners was an exercise in wheel spinning and little or no forward progress.
Ah - that explains quite a bit - especially as I've not driven an M030 suspended car without an LSD. Also explains why the LSD was included as part of the M030 package as it's an integral element of getting the suspension to work.

One thing I really like about the 968 series is the ideal driving position, at least for a tallish bloke like me: you can drive for hours without discomfort. I found the RHD 911 driving position poor, with the pedals offset due to the intrusion of the front wheel arch.
On the other hand, the 968 interior is quite noisy, with the engine having a less attractive sound than the 911.
