URGENT - Quick Poll - Vesuvius as a colour??
Discussion
I've got one and I love the colour.
Sometimes it looks grey, then purple, then bluey red, depends on the sky and lighting.
Much more distinctive than silver / black.
A good choice.
Vesuvius996 had his as the cover star on Total911 edition 1, now a collectors edition - that must say something that they chose it rather than a silver one to launch the mag?

Personally I think Vesuvius is one of the best for the fact it is not typical and looks great. Clear lenses are a must with this colour IMHO. All Millennium edition 996's came in vesuvius with tan leather and it looks special. I have heard it is a less popular colour on resale but no way as bad as Green, Yellow, Red or white. Though 993's in red have been growing on me of late.
I feel your friend is asking a self answered question. Since what he describes is his fear of colour choice causing low re-sale. On a car that is basically a engineering / brand / lifestyle choice he should go for that which his eyes like not his wallet.

sightly off topic but is the millenium 911 the one with the chromed wheels, pimp interior, with lashings of wood?
if so that is the most hideous exterior / interior I have ever seen on a Porsche - almost made me cry to see a 996 decorated like that
That's the one,,,too highly specced for my humble taste, but I have a friend who bought one from new and still has the car..the interior was the sole reason for purchase! Each to their own...

Surely this is the most hideous colour combination ever ...
