I very much doubt there are loads of decent Porsche specialists in the area.

It could be that they aren’t getting back to you for reasons other than them being crap. Think about it.
Cridfords are good.
I think you’ll find they divide opinion. I bought a car from them once. There won’t be a twice.
I bought a car from them no issues. Their warranty then was crap, claim limit of £1k! I wouldn’t buy a Porsche with such a lame warranty now. Not sure if they’ve improved it it was 2008.

Perhaps they're very good at what they do (that being fixing cars) but their communication skills are lacking ? But they could also be understaffed and have a huge volume of work ? Or they may just simply consider you to be a time-waster ?
Oh well whatever. Work is done now. I drive past them at least twice a day. They might hear the new system. Mortimers are excellent

Read your review. Get a life and move on.

So petty
Quite right. I’ll get a life and try to move on but it’s been traumatic and I’ve had to have counselling. What with having to deal with Trump and Brexit. What was I thinking? Posting a review on a review site. And giving my reason in detail. Should’ve just stuck the one star on without any reason like the other bloke.

Leaving a one star review in your circumstances is petulant, childish, and nasty. The fact you can’t see that is quite odd. One star reviews are appropriate for places that rip customers off, are rude, overcharge, do poor work, damage vehicles. Not places that are a little disorganised or where the owner is ill and they don’t come back to you.

You have now put a slur on a business’s reputation online for no other reason than you took it as a slight that they didn’t call you back Your review could be affecting their livelihood. Maybe they dodged a bullet dealing with you regardless if that’s how twisted you see things.

Plenty of businesses are not brilliant at staying in touch, yes it is frustrating chasing them but it’s often because they’re brilliant at what they do and very busy doing the actual work. I put up with it if the place does good work and is honest, that’s more important to me than amazing comms.

Why don’t you be a decent bloke and take your review down.

It could be that they are good at spotting incoming bullets.
