Derestrictor, your comments seem to be based on feelings rather than numbers , do you have any specific acceleration (no top speed) numbers you can share about any of those cars you mentioned that are comparable to yours?

Frankly, no.

Ultimately, I'm not bothered about absolute figures other than any real world benefit to the areas of general acceleration and top speed.

You're right about my deductions insofar as they are technically guesswork: the concept of personally peeing around with data loggers and the like with men standing idle is anathema to my general approach here.

However, I presume you can accept factory figures for standard cars from Porsche, Ferrari & Lamborghini and after 7 years in the hot seat I think my arse can detect general power gains or no.

There is absolutely no question in my own mind that several of the 'fettled' cars are profoundly, searingly more rapid than low-mid 400type horsepower iterations would be.

However you, I or anybody else measures that is a mathematical query and great for pub/bar/interweb bravado but ultimately, the truth will out.

RUF do it best with their RT12 but until I can persaude 'er indoors that £169,000 is a figure with an incorrectly positioned decimal point then secret missions to the regional tuning industry are the best (and most testicle friendly) recourse for most of us suffering an incurable form of Xavier Schnellenkreig Syndrome.

I wish I lived in Cheshire, then I could be happy with a cabriolet & Pimms.

A good point well made. As nobody can agree on how to measure the bl**dy stuff (BHP & Talk?) due to wrong humidity, altitude, shirt colour, ice cream flavour etc etc, surely the discussion is pointless?

Can't wait to see results from the track.

Mate, I've heard infinitely worse ideas!

I look forward to imminent submission at the altar of Kleemanic wizardry.

Not exactly South.

Yes I frequent US forums, I hope that does not make my question to Allan an irrelevant one.

993gt2evo, I was just interested. We don't seem to attract a lot of state side posters, doesn't affect the relevence of your question at all.
