How about a running list of updated delivery dates of UK 997 GT3 for UK expectant owners and their queue position ?

Kick off mine is late Nov 2006 & no1 at my OPC.

I requested an April 2007 delivery time as its my birthday that month....and i need until then to have a jolly good save so i dont have to borrow a fortune!
I'll be having "colour sample to metallic" option so may need to spec up at least 4 months earlier.

I have been told Jan/Feb build & am "assured" I'm second on the list, so will want it for March 07 plate!

They're RHD of course!

Yeah mine will be an 07 plate. I'll stick my private reg on a few months later before the expiry date.

Told latest official line for OPCs is mid Oct/early Nov. deliv. but unoffically the hope is that production is being clawed back to Sept for early Oct. delvery. No.1 at OPC. I'm going to factory collect mine which usually saves about another ten days.

There's an optimist - using words like WHEN instead of IF! Good idea though.

Borrow? Why is anyone borrowing money to buy a £75k car?Its not an investment but a loss...These cars will dump in price as per all 996+variants so dont buy one unless you can afford it..imo of course..

Can't agree with that. Lucky enough to be able to buy my car cash but why would I? I can borrow money so cheaply - as can anyone else - that I prefer to hang on to my capital and set it to work for me. If I can't make it work much, much better then the interest saving I'd get by buying cash then I'd be v. ashamed of myself indeed!
