Personally I think that for the GT3 and RS Porsche should delete the "NON-Colours" i.e Black and Grey's/Silvers!!!
In fact I think for the RS they should only offer the green (Signal if I'm not mistaken) and Orange (Pure Orange)!!!

But black alwayslooks gooood
And delete the traditional Porsche racing colours?
If I could afford a Porsche 996/997 I'd probably go for black or silver, not to be like anybody else but because I think they suit the cars perfectly, and I like the subtlety. GT3's look in white too!
Older Porsches suit bolder colours better to me, like that blue they made 944's in. Or red 930's have a certain 'thing' about them too.
Here are some pics of my fathers '73 911, if any of you are interested. It's running at around 220bhp and weighs approx 1030kg iirc. He also has a steel bonnet with no spots but it weighs more. The car is still a work in progress, fitting rollcage as i type!
hmmm very dificult to get the true colour on the monitor!
Cheers

RPM - your car is stunning ! Indeed I like it more than the 997 GT3RS now !!!
thankyou very much, sadly the car is not mine but my fathers (although maybe mine oneday ), but will pass the message on! We are fitting the rollcage as we speak and are thinking about doing it in body colour.
