Got a phone call Friday to say our episode of the used car roadshow is being shown tonight (Monday) at 9.00pm. Appologies in advance if it`s crap television, I haven`t seen the finished article. They were filming a piece about buying a Porsche 911, unfortunately the car sold before their buyer could make up his mind but a fun way to spend a Friday afternoon.

I can only assume Quentin Tarantino will be beating a path to my door begging me to star in his next epic. I`m keeping a window in my diary!

Well, it's 9.35 pm and no sign of the Porkers or Henry yet.

What a dreadful, dreadful programme. Ms Mallory reckons that the old TT is an exciting drive. And fat bloke........well I can see why Top Gear sacked him.

Funny how the lower mileage (86) Targa was up for a higher price than the newer (88) higher mileage (more desirable) coupe & the same price as the even newer even higher mileage 964!

Nah must have dreamed it Henry says mileage is a load of rubbish & means nothing in car pricing, must be imagining things!!

...and the condition of the cars was? You were dreaming if you reckoned Henry said that, what I read Henry saying was that milage determines the *maximum* amount you can ask, but that condition determines the *actual* amount.

If mileages matters diddly squat on a motor 20yr old, I must be Elton John.

One of the joys of being filmed and the programme being made from a distance, you never know what`s going to end up on air. Obviously masses of editing from what was actually filmed and said but that`s the nature of the beast.

Still awaiting the call from Quentin T.

Sorry DJC I was refering to Henrys comments here, ...... www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?t=300673&f=48&h=0
which seemed to contradict the pricing in the programme!!!
