...that is almost an exact replica of my car, save the naff font number plate. So i will obviously think it is the best car in the world laugh I think you should buy it. You won't regret it! You may be able to negotiate a couple of grand off, maybe down to 65-66k

Get the wallet out and good luck!

Wow - low miles! I thought mine was low at 8k miles.

Prefer the bucket seats, but apart from that, can't be bad.

Looks fantastic - get spending!!

...sorry didn't notice the ultra low miles. I think it is fairly well priced this considered.

Slightly naïve question, but what are the implications of buying from Ireland - other than logostics.

Edit for typo.

Makesure it's not been written off. Cars from NI sometimes loose their CAT listing on the register. Get a full PPI by a bodywork/paint specialist using an electronic paint depth monitor

Not a deliberate attempt to scaremonger, but there was a very nice silver GT2 around last year that had been re-shelled (at a cost of circa £50K) that didn't even make it onto the V Car register (it had 32K miles on it though)

As has been said before, if the jobs been done properly it's not an issue, but a full mechanical and paint inspection is a must if the history seems in any way questionable.

LHD, nearly 40K miles. Seems about right. Non standard cars can also put people off?

Seen this one at Vmax before, don't think its a RUF,also RUF don't do a 580 upgrade.

I have ceramic brakes and I absolutely love them.

If they ever go bang, hopefully there will be cheaper versions I can buy, I save at least half an hour a week not having to scrub the wheels (that's gotta be worth some money).

I drive my car in the rain, but not when it's very windy, there's too much stuff that could blow into its path.

That car was at Bruntingthorpe for a Drivers Run day, we looked at it with AdamT and one of AdamTs friends who was over visiting from Ruf (where he works building engines for them) and we all stayed amusingly quiet as the owner explained that it was a Ruf (without realising that between the three of us we owned 3 Rufs and two of the three of us worked there ).

The exhaust is not a Ruf exhaust and the car has not been to Ruf as far as he was aware. Any buyer of this car should ask to see the Ruf invoices and check with Ruf directly.

Driving mine everyday, including in today's mini hurricane.

I don't think values will rise at all, EVER. Firmly agree with matey earlier who suggested appreciating Porsches all have a direct link to motorsport.

Mine's an 03 silver comfort with 18k on the clock. I reckon it's worth about 57k and will be about 50k this time next year. He says with www.crystalball.com open in another browser.

Simon - as you should know by now, the model of car I drive NEVER loses any value, so clearly, 996GT2 residuals are very stable and rising........

Brave men to be driving your GT2s in this weather.
A certain Mr Majeed of Crawley football club fame lost control of his 993GT2 last week on the A23 twenty minutes after buying it. Broke both his legs and smashed his shoulder and ribs. This occurs only two weeks after that doctor lost control of his F40 (ripped the whole front off it but walked away fine) on the A23 as well.
