Thanks for all of your posts and information.

The car is back in the workshop, and we are investigating the drain holes.
However, in the exploded diagram of the Targa roof, we have already replaced items 19 and 20 under advisement from Porsche UK that these are the drain channels that lead to the runners and take the water down the side of the rear window to the drain at the front of the engine.

Where are the drain holes located?

It appears that the water comes through so rapidly that it doesn't have a chance to leave through drain holes at the top of the roof.

Help.

Cheers,

Alan.

I'm no technical expert, so what follows may be of no use! However, when my Targa roof was adjusted to stop a rattle, I gather that it was in some way tilted forwards to tighten it up in its rear seating. If that can happen, presumably it's also possible for the join between the top and the rear window to have a gap - perhaps wider than the seal can cope with? From what you're saying, the water comes in faster than the drain can cope with and I wonder whether it's coming through that joint? Might be worth finding out how that tilting is carried out? As I said earlier, Craig at GT-One did the work, so might be able to advise?
