A dog in a 911?
Discussion
We get a full grown German Shepherd and Papillion into our 996. We do get some odd looks with her (GS) head out of the window and in front passenger seat! They both prefer back seats though. I custom built some seat 'fills' to level out rear seats to make it more comfortable but no need as dogs always make themselves comfortable regardless of eth situation! I always put down a cover to stop any scratches from paws, all ok so far1

I'm amazed how many of you have your dogs in your 911s!
I have a Vizsla and a GSD and they travel in the 4x4.
I was in London the other day and saw a brand new 997 Turbo with a huge dog on the passenger seat - made me laugh as I thought it was a rarity - it would seem not!
Where did the injured deer go??
In a travel crate that I happened to have for taking dogs abroad - just as well, because even with a badly broken leg it kicked hell out of the cage for the whole journey - over an hour!I have a Vizsla and a GSD and they travel in the 4x4.

Dogs are really good in the car though... I always use a harness (don't want them escaping every time I open a door - or hitting me on the back of the head in an accident!)
Our 20 month old chocolate labby is a regular in my 993 we put a couple of pieces of sponge in foot wells to even out the hight of rear seats and a couple of dog blankets ,dog seat-belt harness keeps him safe and secure for the twisty lanes
I must admit that when we go to the coast people do look on in horror whey the see a wet dog climbing in to the rear of the car

Winston, my Flatcoated Retriever, goes in my 993RS...
One time I passed a motorcyclist, he saw Winston sitting in the right hand seat, thought he was driving, and almost fell off his bike with surprise!
He also went in the Caterham Fireblade race car but I didn't drive it as it had no windscreen and Winston refused to wear a crash helmet...
