For me caused by the fact they have upped the power in the Boxster to the same level.

You can now get a convertible with the same power for less money. All the dealers I've spoken to say this is the main reason why the Cayman has taken such a beating.

how many of us predicted this when the cayman was launched...I had a deposit on one after I bought my 997...drove it, liked it...did some maths and crystal ball gazing...and spotted this coming a mile away. bought another 997. yer, i will get sh4fted by the facelift...but thats life...if you don't like loosing money don't buy cars ! even on a porsche forum you won't find much sympathy.
