993 Airbag discharge!!!!

Hi, I'm posting this up for a buddy of mine, he has an N reg 993 Carrera on pulling into his drive the airbag went off for no reason!! Just wondered if anyone else has heard of this sceanario at all, my friends main concern is that this could of happened five minutes before when he was bimbling through the lanes, well you do the maths!
Any other cases?

Your mate should take it to his local OPC. Even if he has not purchased it through there, they are obliged to fix this problem, as there was a recall on 993's relating to airbags.

The car is now at Carrs of Exeter, Porsche GB are involved apparently this car did not go in for the recall!
