Nice problem to have Rich....heated sports seats are the only thing I can think that is not standard on latest spec and would suit a cab
usual cd interchange.etc....

Absolute definites:

Arctic silver with black interior of course.
X50 + manual gearbox
CD multiplay in boot
Heated sports seats
Cruise control
wind mesh thingy
crested wheels
crested headrests
Alloy handbrake and gearstick.
Hard top trolley?

Maybes:

Carbon centre console between seats - standard plastic looks cheap.

Steve Carter's thread on speccing his 996tt coupe may be off interest.

Great idea on the colour....i would consider metropole blue hood & interior over black as a contrast...
rear park,,,looks like the bumper has acne with sensors, didn't value it myself.

I've got the standard three spoke steering wheel. Don't know what the leather steering wheel looks/feels like. Make sure of one thing though, don't order the steering wheel with carbon/wood inserts on the rim, on a sports car you need a constant grip not two different surfaces to contend with.

Hi DAZ

BTW - Has anyone seen the new 2004 'Atlas Grey' (on a sample obviously)... is it darker/lighter/richer/poorer than Seal Grey?

Last time I checked, my OPC didn't have a sample. (tut) - just in the window to change.

Also... just booked for me and Mrs. Get for the Pie & Tie.

Excellent news Steve, look forward to putting a face to the name. Buster's booked as well, so that's at least 3 X50 in the car park, may have to do a little convoy in fighting formation around the local roads. Should cheer up the natives.

I don't like the Park Sensors myself, spoils the rear of the car........

I thought a hard-top was standard on all 996 Cabrios....?

It is on UK spec cars, my reference was to a trolley you can store the thing on in your garage. Apols, if query not aimed at my post.

Congratulations on the new toy, does this mean that the 360 cab is going ???
Daz has chosen a great spec, about spot on, the only points I would add are.... the alloy handbrake & gearlever are great, but some of the items in the "packs" aren't proper alloy & are silver sprayed plastic, which (only in my opinion)can look a little cheap & nasty.
Better to go for silver dials, alloy kick plates & a few extra leather touches in addition to the gearlever & handbrake....I also have the centre console in leather with the Turbo logo in leather on the cubby box, looks good (ain't cheap!!). I also agree with Guy that the rear parking sensors look a little dodgy !!
One other thought, the last three Porkers I've had have had a black interior, but the other half's Boxter
has Metropole blue (& blue hood) with silver & this looks great, a good alternative to black for a bit of variety & the blue hood looks the business on a silver car.
When does the new toy arrive ????????????????

just after Chrimbo methinks it should arrive.

360 Spider went 6 weeks ago, still miss it.

Metropole Blue gets lighter when worn, thats my only concern.
