Picked up car yesterday afternoon from Dick Lovett ~ just wanted to thank all those from this place that have helped and advised over the ice age that it took to arrive.

I'm delighted with the car so far (but have 1732.8 miles left in a running in process ~ so can't really comment).

I've taken some pics this a.m. on my travels (any excuse to get in the car) link here >> www.stevecarter.com/x3gtr.htm

No doubt when I get back to the Highlands, I'll take some more exiting ones. It looks like some Scottish pistonheads might be organising a 'Skye & Pie' blat - if so, I'll keep you informed - as the roads up there are porker heaven.

I'm off out... we're out of milk, and I think it's a penny cheaper in North Wales.

Absolutely stunning car, lovely colour and just simply stunning, well done.
You know there are some lovely roads in devon and the milk is 2 pence cheaper!

I'd go for milk in Cannes personally! Fantastic looking car Steve, really does look the business. Just noticed the pipes - are they the standard ones?

Car looks great steve, but you might find the mile is 60 quid and 3 points more expensive in north wales

Steve, you are one good photographer, loved the first & fourth shot's, that's one fantastic car, congratulations. Don't know about the 2k run in period though, you should be giving it a sound thrashing well before that !!!

Thanks for the comments chaps.

Tail pipes were part of the Ali/Chrome pack as I remember.

Oh... and when I told my accountant what I'd bought he simply said "Oh shit"

Oh well.

Absolutely delighted for you Steve.

I assume you dealt with Swindon rather than Bristol, which is my local OPC.

Doing a special at my house. Free pint of milk to drivers of X50 porkers.

Edited to say, Steve, I'm having a problem emailing sadgit at the moment, is the address still running!

Daz - although www.SadGit.net is still the strangest place to visit on the net... my e mail at SadGit was just full of nasty spams (how much bigger do they want my bits to be?)... so I closed it down.

Steve at SteveCarter.co.uk will work (notice the cunning plan).

Edited to say... Hi OldTimer... you get everywhere!

Forgive me blundering into this forum, but while wandering around PH I stumbled across your 996TT. Now I always considered the 996 a bit, well, buggy and ugly.

But that car is just stunning. I am moved to write in.

And the photos better than anything I have seen - even in Porsches own publicity material..

I must now lie down in a dark room and stop thinking about a 996 TT. The Noble I have just ordered suddenly seems threatened..
