Will not pay for Repairing or replacing parts which have not suffered a breakdown or for rectifying oil leaks. Will not pay for any external oil leaks Other than those oil leaks that are pacifically covered.
Oil: you must keep details of the exact specification of oil used in servicing.
Wear tear starts after 90 days
£50 Excess
For vehicles over 60,000, the table below shows the percentage Warranty Direct will pay depending on the vehicle's mileage at the time of breakdown.
60,001 miles - 70,000 miles. 80%
70,001 miles - 80,000 miles. 70%
80,001 miles - 90,000 miles. 60%
90,001 miles - 100,000 miles+ 50%
Example: If your car has done less than 60k they will pay 100% of the parts. Once over 60k your contribution is 20% for each 20k miles for the parts. Until the car hits 100k then its 50% for parts plus all labour.
13 years/130,000 miles - Policy stops no more claims paid for – Servicing; at least every 12 months… Lots more interesting facts in the policy book….
Even those warranties that include it usually only allow full claims when your car is relatively new (when the cover is not needed) and then build in a sliding scale percentage excess, which costs you more as your mileage increases, which all means 'You Pay'.
at least 3 months MOT remaining when you take out the policy and you must ensure your car has been correctly serviced by a Vat registered garage.

Warranty wise is not insurance, so you pay vat at 20% on their products, whilst ipt tax is only 6% so their products are automatically 14% more expensive than necessary.
Vehicle older than 10 years / 10,000 miles
Cancellation fee of £50 to cover expenses
Parts may be exchanged or reconditioned and cost limited to motor factor trade price + 10% - Extra cost options - Labour rate - Air bag system - Air conditioning - Catalytic converter - Mot failure - Multi media
All plans exclude parts that have not suffered a failure and worn out parts at the end of their normal operating life. Repairer reserve right to move repair to another garage especially if more cost effective to do so
Exclusions liquid crystal displays - Servicing if not at warranty wise approved garage or franchise garage must include details of exactly which service parts were checked, replaced or otherwise attended to.
Minimum servicing ;- Engine oil and filter replaced at 10,000 miles 12 months - Air filter and fuel filters replaced at intervals of 20,000 miles 24 months - Gearbox, transmission and power steering fluids replaced at 30,000 miles or 36 months - Coolant / anti freeze replaced at every 3 years / 30,000 miles - Brake pads shoes replaced at every 2 years / 20,000 miles
If you are unable to provide proof that the previous servicing of your vehicle has been competed as required during the period of your plan WE WILL DECLINE ANY repair request.
Warranty wise may decline any repair if we are not satisfied that you have not used your best efforts to assist us and provided the correct and satisfactory supporting documentation as and when required within 14 days.. Lots more interesting facts in the policy book….
I'm contacting a few more after new year so keep your eyes open for my update.. hope the above information helps..

Devil's advocate here but warrantywise are regarded as one of the better providers out there but often the products taken out by supplying dealers are the cheapest ones with the labor rates set too low. Also going back to the op outta important to know that bore scoring isn't coveted it specifically pops up on their system when you enter a Porsche reg.
We used to use them but grew to a point where self cover was more viable. We never really had any issues but I was not aware of any of my customers needing to claim

Absolute sharks! Purchased 10 warrantees over a 2 month period spending almost £1000 with them so that my customers could have peace of mind after purchasing a car from me. The first customer who approached Warrant wise for a repair was fobbed off with some lame excuse as to why they would not pay for the repair. I ended up paying over £600 (trade) to repair the car myself on top of the cost for the bogus warranty. When I called warranty wise up to complain I was told that the service history was incomplete even though the car was serviced a week before the customer took the car and that the service history was very good with lots of stamps in the service book. I then pointed out that when taking out the warranty on their website it gave me the option to select part service history which was accepted and they went ahead and took my payment. Today someone from warranty wise called me and told me that only the last year of services is necessary! They change their rules on a daily basis. Finely, they told me to read their small print with regards to terms. They are typical in this industry, very happy to take payment but more than reluctant to fulfil a warranty! Total rip off merchants, I would not touch them with a barge pole! One of my customers told me a long time ago that a warranty is not worth the paper it’s written on, at the time I disagreed, how right he was.
Personally I wouldn't bother with any warranties that aren't manufacturer-backed - there's basically no incentive for them to pay out. Whereas if your BMW or Porsche warranty (the 2 I've had/have) cause you trouble because the companies that provide them give you hassle, eventually the manufacturer will start chewing them out as it reflects badly on them.
Avoid this warranty provider at all costs. I recently purchased a vehicle and this warranty and I can honestly say it is a waste of money. My first claim was rejected on the grounds of it not being covered. It was clearly covered in the warranty booklet. They used a technicality of it being a BMW additional part (obviously not listed) to try and get out of this claim. The garage where I purchased the car upgraded the warranty at the cost of, I believe, a 1000 pounds (total 2600) to platinum. They then, eventually (after me having to hire a car). The next claim, baring in mind it was on covers everything platinum) they came back with it was a result of manifest (meaning use of the car). This (over a period of many weeks and more car hire) resulted in in eventually being fixed. predominantly on the garage thretening to withdrawal business from them. I subsequnetly tried to cancel and they obliged after many many unreturned calls with an email saying "we have cancelled the policy and you will recieve no money back'. Absolutely shocking customer service and warranty. Ignore the so called positive reviews and focus on the negative ones as I am sure these are more accurate of REAL customer experience. If you are looking for a warranty LOOK ELSEWHERE. NOT ONLY DOES THIS WARRANTY CHALLENGE EVERYTHING CLAIM YOU WILL MAKE, BUT YOU ONLY GET THE COUTESSY CAR FOR THE TIME IN REPAIR. THAT IS WHEN THE MECANIC IS WORKING ON IT. NOT BEFORE. NOT UNTIL COLLECTION. THE X AMOUNT OF HOURS THEY WORK ON THE CAR. AGAIN, USELESS.
