Has anyone placed a deposit for said car?

Any ideas when it will be available?

Power? X50 version????

Having spent yday looking at 575's I've decided that the X50 is the best "all rounder" (imo) so will slam deposit for the next one and keep it for a while....

ANYTHING would be helpful - cheers! Greg

A mate (who currently has a 996 TT X50) has signed a "letter of intent" up at Stratstone's for a 997 Turbo due in 2006, no other details and no deposit paid. They are "guessing" that standard turbo will have 450bhp.

Just spoken to AFN they too are talking LOI's only at this stage for the 997 TT.

They have 20 orders so far -

They expect the TT to be abt 3 years after the "basic" 997 is released - so abt 2007... I think it will be earlier than that.

He's tried to sell me a TT cab in the meantime.....

I would think the 996 TT cab would be a winner

Would they sell me one?

If you provide evidence. You know...bring along your scissors and hair dryer and offer a few of the staff a nice tidy up.

Personally - I could stand the "stigma" of owning a Turbo Cab X50!

"Shall I take a little off the top sir, tidy the sides and perhaps take you for a trip of the Nurburgring at 200 mph"
