Well I picked up my 965 2 hours ago ( earlier than planned) and have just come in from cruising around enjoying the best car i have driven for a long time. the turbo makes the best noise and gives a huge kick in the back but it can be driven nice and sedately with the pop and crackle from the exhaust just egging you on. I dont think this grin is going to go for a long long time.

Enjoy the moment whilst it lasts, I fear it will soon go once you analyse the amount of money you'll spend in the next few weeks filling it up.....

Good car, very reliable, loads of potential.

Nice!

But is that *really* a Max Power number plate on the front?

An absolute beauty, congratulations!

Guards red and curvy turbo arches (930 or 965 variety) are a classic combination IMHO.

Looks great.

Hope the grinning is continuing. Careful in the rain though.

I must say that your 965 is just scrummy.

Its timeless and I think it will still be a "wow" car 20 years from now.

A lovely bit of kit.

Congratulations, and good choice.

I want one..in Blue, and I'd give it big red brake calipers. Yum.

400 bhp!!! i think i ought to get used to what i have at the mo but certainly down the line, yes please!
The brakes are a factory upgrade apparently and when the front discs and pads were replaced recently the parts came to £1000. i dont know if theyre supposed to be red or not.
Do the mudflaps make much diference to the look?

Oooh yes, you want it, don't you !

I must admit that a 400hp 2wd Turbo sounds like great sport. And all without any obvious alterations. It would scare the witts out of 993's, and 996 pilots like me.

Just yummy.

Can't say i noticed them . A good sign though, shows an owner wanted to cherish the beauty. I'd probably leave em IMHO.

Enjoy the experience. Is'nt collecting a cool car which you feel you've earned the most wonderful experience?
