Oh joy!

Now do I see why the M5 is akin to a vat of Lexian lard by-product...

With some sort of diabolical variation of GT2/Motorsport parts bin hybridism, the boy Hindley continues with the gradual annulment of my Turbo's original gene sequence.

The action is now, well, 'severe' but, a modicum of exposure from just a few short hours' hoonstrachen has delivered some entirely new, much rawer thrills to the ensemble that was already close to my idea of unadulterated, automotive rapture.

With a high bite point in first, the key is to be off the left pedal asap and away; no more 4000 rpm dialled in kangaroo starts, oh no (unless you prefer your clutches fried in butter?). But somehow, it engages instantly and seems to banish the concept of flatspotism.

Combined with a delightful repertoire of additional mechanical moans, goans, protests and general whines, it's all very LESS civilised than these cars are interpreted to be.

With some buckets and Dom-friendly strippage in the new year, I shall attempt one or two track days and a Brunters ( CRAIG!) before consulting the chief wizard of the manually adjustable cam.

It will then be ready for Uwe.

(The natural cruise also seems to have 'psychologically' increased, to about 140. Ish!)

Where in the U.K are you? i think i need to see this car in the flesh before i do something silly and get a TVR.

Morning Edward,

Nothing major but following Octoberfest's munching of the original clutch following excessive Bruntingborne orfthelinism, it needed mending.

With a view to coping with Gemballic globules of track rippage, it was felt something altogether more substantial in terms of plate tectonics would be a cunning move.

And so it came to pass, that the pusruit of fullsome snarlery and unyielding firestorm continues apace, the final feel of symbiotic oneness melding continuously with the being of the pilot with every twist of the key.

A cacophony of iron fisted brtuality (the ultimate form being the honed perfection of an RS with the Volkspie of massively elasticated lederhosen).

I is oop north, where the whippet roams free.

See you on a dissused airfield, somewhere in Leicestershire, soon...

Morning DeR, does this mean the "Lexian lard by-product " is superflous to requirments? Now you`ve used & abused her, been rogered by old pork & god knows what else, you`ve no more use for her and she`s to be cast adrift ??

Confused and bewildered I may be, Mikial but entirely lost of plot I trust not quite; at least yet!

No, no; the kidney schlepper is a fine day to day tool which I've discovered is perfectly happy in the jams.

By contrast, even vaguely obeying the hugely innappropriate speed imposotions of the communists these days is now a major challenge - and one I shall specifically enjoy not relishing!

On, ON!

Now stop this nonsense. Calm down and lie down in a quiet place. You don't want a TVR 350, you really don't.

And remember that if you should succomb in some moment of blindness, coming back to the fold of all things Pork or Ferrari will be so much more difficult as fewer souls share this interest you have in Blackpool resin, and will pay substantially less than you did. (witness the bargains in Ph classifieds - plenty of distressed sellers there it seems).

You'll be fiscally shafted, and no mistake.

Keep the faith. A DeR special, or indeed a product of Mr Ninemeister, should keep you in the manner you deserve.

Note to Craig. Sunday Feb22 is Virginia Waters.

As late in March as possible would be good, increases the odds of better weather in our favour.

Think we might have to extend the now ubiquitous "Breakfast at Gregory's*" after the last success.

Emm was particularly taken by Joust as he "made his own sandwiches, not like you shower"

* For Sunday use only

Nice one Der! Any chance of a ride if I can make the next Brunters?

The honour of finally meeting Piston Head's Primary Procreative Emisary cannot be underestimated.

Not only will I be delighted to so oblige but a copious quantity of graphic Franco-Germanic 'ography will litter the footwell in respectful anticipation of your glorious alightment.
