Anyway...here is a great story..my wife and I went out for dinner last night...on returning to the car and driving off I noticed some writing on the windscreen in black eye-liner...it was carefully written inversley and read "call me on 07956 XXXXXXX"

Hmm lets think 996 cab, autobox, Savanah interior...... I'm thinking with that spec the voice at the end of the phone may well be male & is quite into showtunes

A 964 at millenium bug price..DONT DO IT....with all their oil leaks and dual mass fly wheels..youd have to be mad! Honestlty they are only ever worth £7k..no honest they are..you can get them anywhere for that. Just wait until its Christmas..people just give them away. Did yoy know everyone who wants one wants a BIG ugly spoiler on the back and silly plastic bits down the side

Isnt this a fine quote, I forget who started this thread and what was it about. Someone i think complaining about resale prices. Well if in am to belive what i have read on here and a 964 is worth 7k. Which I belive to half of there value. Then should not the topic car be worth less than half of what he´s asking. or am i bening just bitchy.

Ive been looking at prices 964's for over a month now and I can assure you they are not 7k

otherwise there would be one on my drive now. prices go from £20k down to about £15k(ones Ive been looking at ) depending obviously on age, spec and millage.
weather they are worth that I dont know

And there hasnt been any "new" ones advertised on autotrader for ages.
Some people it seems dont try to sell cars at Christmas

Phone Henry for a quote....bet its around £10k...

Does yours include the standard oil leaks, snapped distributor belt and faulty dual mass flywheel???

Forget 964s...save up and get a 993 (even LHD)...infact...buy one this month as all cars are worth 30% less in December...

This thread is getting somewhat tiresome now..

Come on guys (or A Guy in patricular)

This isnt how we do business around here.

Were all here for one reason, we love our Cars..

Lets not play the child.

Awards tend to be given on the quality of posts rather than quantity.

Forget it Roy. Henry is untouchable on this forum. Now who was it who said these forums were full of BS ?

It brings to mind the joke about the difference between Porsches and Porcupines.

I can say that now I've got a VR6 . T4 coming in the spring though.

I sold a car to Henry this year after a period on sale or return. The car in question was a GP White 993 Carrera 2 Tiptronic with 18" RS Rims. They were friendly, helpful and honest.

You have obviously been advertising your car and it has not sold. Dealers make you an offer of what they are happy to pay in order for them to make a satisfactory profit. If your not happy with the offer don't sell it to them.

If you are a buyer and don't have the required knowledge to purchase a car privately with minimal risk you will have to buy through a dealer, at a rate that they feel makes them a reasonable profit.

Henry is running a business, doesnt force anyones arm and seems to do a roaring trade. Every private individual wants to buy low and sell high without offering any of the value added which a dealer can. As a private seller your in a very weak position to do this the only way to make your car stand out as Henry has already stated is price, unless you have 30 people turning up at your house to look at 911's each day !!

Its annoying I know, but its just the way it is. I would suggest you take a hit on the car like most of us do, because the only other option is to get in the position where you have 30 people turning up at your house each day trying to buy 911's. Now that would be annoying!!!

A white tiptronic 993. I'm surprised even Henry bought it.

That's why you had to sell it to a dealer.
