do you not have to upgrade a few other bits on the car to make the most of this remap? i.e clutch, exhaust, diverter valves, headers , hoses etc?
The map itself is the key thing - Exhaust will help make the most out of it, and the rest are all ancillaries that have value, but are not essential to do immediately so long as the existing ones work.

Few things

Matt has been away for the last week and a half so if anyone has been trying to contact him thats why he hasn't responded.

Re tuning a 997TT he wont be able to do that for the same price as the group buy.

Of course not. Being a current model, they generate even more Porsche tax! wink

Not to put the cat amongst the pigeons .... have a look at this

http://www.chippeduk.com/products/ST3.html

Basically you keep the device and can load the appropriate map.

I thought this was clever ..

some notes about it ..

Andy,

you have read it wrong ...

you speak to the tuner, explain the type of maps you want.

All the ST3 device is for you to load the type of map you want .. std/ano1/track(say BP 102)
