It will probably cost between 1-2k to bring a German 993tt over, do the required work for MoT etc. and then re-register it in the UK. Will also take about 1-2 months from heading out to Germany to driving on UK plates.
Mileage wise, they will last quite well, but turbos may start going at 100k miles or so, and work will need doing with age and mileage.
